The trip I ll never forget - part1

I don’t actually know when it all started, I think it was an idea of either Abhishek Babu (he is not some Babu in some post office or something we just append this word in respect of him) or Yamini or Sid, to do a trekking trip on long weekend (April 5’ 2008 – April 7’ 2008). They floated this idea and this floated until our mailboxes were almost full with all the mails with different destinations and their details. Finally it got finalized for Hermitage guest house........ As usual Abhinaw was in without knowing actually where the trip was to, Shilpa was also in as she was eager to go on some trekking trip, Amanchi just wanted to go some where on some holiday trip as he hadn’t done any trip after his trip in IIT so, he was also in then comes my number, I didn’t want to go on any trip as I had been traveling a lot for last 3 - 4 months so when Abhishek Babu asked me r u coming I just denied but, u can’t always follow ur decisions if u respect others feelings n I can’t say no to any body... so finally I was also in, idea floaters were already in. So, the trip was made to Hermitage guest house with 7 trekkers Yamini, Abhishek Babu, Sid, Abhinaw, Amanchi, Shilpa and me. Trip was final but tickets were yet to be booked n there was consensus to reach on before going for booking. Yamini was supporting going by bus n since it was almost 12 hrs by bus so Abhishek Babu was reluctant to go by bus as he won’t have enough space to run around n Sid was also reluctant and his logic was he doesn’t get enough leg space, although he is not that tall :P (of course taller than me). So finally after a discussion which Abhishek Babu won train tickets had to be booked n again one point came out. Should we go in sleeper class or A/C. n finally after a voting it was decided that we will go in sleeper class n will come back in A/c. Yamini n Amanchi booked the tickets. Now every body was waiting for the Friday (April 4th)....suddenly on Monday (31^st March) Yamini gave a hint that she might not come as she ll have to attend her mom (she had to go through an eye operation) n everybody started cribbing n I was very disappointed but finally Yamini handled the situation n saved the trip from getting cancelled. On Friday everybody came to office with there backpacks except Abhishek Babu n Shilpa (their houses are very close to office) n all were waiting for 5:00 pm. Fortunately I didn’t had any bugs pending so I was quite free n was closely following the watch. And finally it was 5. Abhishek Babu, Abhinaw, Amanchi n I started from office, Shilpa joined us in Mayuri lane n Yamini joined in at the meeting point of Mayuri lane n SP Road, Sid didn’t come with us as he had to finish some work n he asked us to move on n he will come running. We all arrived at begumpet railway station n train came 5 minutes late @ 5:35 pm.... we got into S13(coach our reservations were in). In almost 5 minutes everything was settled n in a while we all were involved in some discussion n I don’t know why I called Shilpa "kam dimag" (less brainy). It was a usual comment for me (but not every body’s mind is in sync with u n not ever body know what u felt when u said something to somebody) but for her it acted like a tikhi mirchi n she replied “Khud to apni identity hai nahi…dusron ke pichhe poonchh ban ke ghumte rehte ho…..pehle apni identity banao phir baat karo”……It was nt at all easy for me, I’m not use to these sort of comments on me….It was the worsest (I know worst itself is in superlative degree) comment I have ever heard for myself….I don’t know what people think about me n I don’t even care but I know that I’m a self made man… n for a person who has taken all the important decision by himself these sort of comments is heart breaking. Yeah it did broke my heart but it didn’t sustain for quite long it got all wiped out with her smile n her argument “dost kuchh bol denge to dosti tod loge kya”. After all it was me who had started this so I shouldn’t blame any body for this. After this short episode of heart breakings we started our all time favorite antrakshari to pass our time. Abhishek Babu, Amanchi and I were in one team..Yamini, Sid, Shilpa n Abhinaw were in another team. I was laud as always n it all continued until it was time for dinner. We ordered 2 egg biriyani for Abhinaw n Amanchi n five veg biriyanis for Yamini, Abhishek Babu, Sid, Shilpa and myself. I didn’t feel eating so I had just half of my biriyani, Abhishek Babu ate the rest. After dinner we went to sleep.......I cudn’t sleep properly as people kept coming into my compartment n whenever they came they switched on the lights n It all resulted into my bad sleep….I woke up next morning at around 8. Yamini, Abhinaw n Amanchi were already up, after sometime around 8:30 or smthing Abhishek Babu n Shilpa also got up….around 9 we reached hubli station where we had our breakfast…..everybody except me ate idaly n I preferred Dosa (The driving force of this blog)……after breakfast Abhishek Babu was out using the train length for his jogging n Yamini was busy photographing n we five decided to go with bluff (A game of playing cards)…..as smile couldn’t go of Shilpa's face so, every time she bluffed she got richer n finally as the outcome of first game she was the richest with all the cards…...we made fun of her by calling her sardar but, all the time she wanted to prove herself n in next game she was the 1^stone to finish the game (with the help of Sid otherwise I would have bettered my last game’s 2^nd position ) ......After winning she told us "see I’m not a sardar" n we replied yeah u r not, actually u r a sardarni….jokes apart but yeah she proved that she is not that less brainy…...After two games we didn’t play anymore n everybody was busy doing different things…..Yamini was busy sleeping…Abhishek Babu was still busy going through different coaches of train…I was busy charging my mobile n listening to songs…I couldn’t c what Sid, Abhinaw, Amanchi n Shilpa were busy in…….We reached Belgaum railways station at 12:15 pm….
