K A T KAT means Billi (The trip I ll never forget - part3)

Now there was nobody with me to talk n I felt kind of lonely so, I started reading a novel to pass my time…..but those devil mosquitoes started singing in my ear........I was not able to finish even 10 lines in 5 minutes...... So, I decided to move to Chaupal. It was an open place so there were very less mosquitoes….I read the novel for an hr…since I didn’t had my complete lunch so I kept on eating biscuits all this while............... When u eat biscuit u feel like drinking water n so with the biscuit I finished all the water which was there in my room. Now I was planning to go to Mariard to ask for some water. I was about to leave then I saw Kat(Katrina) coming towards Chaupal. She saw me n smiled....... When every body left for trekking I thought since I couldn’t go to trekking n I was not enjoying reading novel either so I planned to talk to Kat if I c her around....... So when c smiled I smiled back n thought this is the right time to brake the ice n I asked her name she replied Katrina n she asked mine n that’s it she left :(…..but I wanted to talk more so after sometime I went to her n asked for drinking water n she just told me to get it from the Matka near sink of Chaupal where they use to wash dishes....... I took the water n nothing popped in my mind n opportunity of talking to her slept out of my hand.......Since she had come to wash tea cups which my mates had used so, after washing all the cups she left n I was all alone again…........ I thought my effort is flop n I started roaming around. I saw some plate sticked to trees near Machan....I went there to c what it was n suddenly I saw Kat coming towards Machan. She came there n asked "what r u doing" n I responded "just roaming around".......... This time she had come to lit the lanterns. She went up on the Machan n was lighting the lantern...I thought lets try again n I asked her "what do u do" n she replied she is doing PHD in Australia n after that we kept on talking on different topics from Bollywood to Hollywood…......The kind of job she wants to join…....her plans after phd n what not…............ Let me tell u I’m very understanding n a very good observer (at least I feel this strongly :D), …..I never felt that she doesn’t want to talk to me or something like that......I always felt that she wants to talk more ……..........I just liked her way of talking, unlike our typical Indian girls whom if any stranger asks anything first thing comes to their mind is "ye ladka mujhe line marne ki koshish kar raha hai"....…..lightning all the lanterns took almost 45 mins….....during our chatting I offered her biscuit which I was eating all this while but she refused……I asked her again after sometime with a sincere request…n she couldn’t refuse this time…n after sometime she even asked for another biscuit…….when she finished lighting all the lanterns….I asked her “are you done”…she responded "yeah"....….I was about to say bye but suddenly she asked would I and my mates like to have bonfire..... I was not sure about my mates so I told her to wait for them….but she insisted again but again I told her we should wait for them…..but she still wanted to start the bonfire..so we went for bonfire….once it was started we sat around it….n she didn’t leave n we kept on talking n after sometime we heard some jeep coming n she told me that our mates have come n after a minute Sid, Abinaw n Amanchi came near bonfire n they informed that Yamini fell down n hurt her ankle. After brief intro with Sid, Abhinaw n Amanchi she left….I still had something left to talk about…but couldn’t do anything…….after she left we discussed how Yamini fell n all….after sometime Yamini came with Abhishek Babu n Shilpa, she was hurt very badly......It was almost impossible to walk…..if it would have been some other person he/she would not have been able to walk …but Yamini walked till Chaupal (of course with the help of Abhishek babu)….....one could see the pain on her face…..David gave some ice to wrap around the ankle…..n Sid kept that wrapped all the time mean while Shilpa kept on suggesting to put some alcoholic drink (I don’t know was it wine or beer) on ankle n she shared her past experiences of using alcoholic drink in case of twisted ankle but nobody got convinced….....even if we got we kept making fun of this fact…….around 9 pm we had our dinner … I didn’t to have anything (whenever I get sick first thing happens to me is I loose interest for food) but finally had some rice n dal....…everybody enjoyed the meal but two persons were not satisfied with food......... 1^st was of course me n 2^nd was Abhishek Babu, for him everything was incomparable (Bejod) but there was no curd…n he kept cribbing about that …..when food items were assembled Kat again came but I didn’t want to talk to her in front of all the mates (I’m not very open n always mind people around).
